Breeding logs

• Female stag beetles often prefer to lay their eggs in decaying wood. Providing suitable wood in the enclosure encourages females to lay their eggs, which is a crucial aspect of breeding stag beetles. Different species of stag beetles do not use the same hardness of log, please reach out to us for advice. 
• Make sure to provide various sizes and types of wood to accommodate the beetles' preferences.
